Radio Imaging Voice Over

The voice your station sounds like.

Radio imaging is the identity of your station — every liner, every sweeper, every ID is a brand impression. You need a voice that fits the format, owns the sound, and sounds like it belongs there. Every time.

The Craft

Format is everything in imaging.

A CHR station and a Classic Hits station don't just play different music — they sound different, feel different, and speak to their audiences in completely different registers. The imaging voice has to live inside that difference instinctively. You can't fake format fluency. Program directors hear it immediately when it's not there.

I have been doing radio imaging across formats for more than twenty years — CHR, Country, Classic Hits, Sports, Regular FM, and General. I know the energy levels, the pacing, the tone that each format demands. I record from a broadcast-quality home studio and deliver fast — because imaging needs don't wait for a recording studio's schedule.

Whether you need a single element, a full set of sweepers and liners, or a consistent long-term voice for your station, I deliver broadcast-ready audio directly from my studio with fast turnaround and no scheduling headaches.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

What radio formats do you cover for imaging?
CHR (Contemporary Hit Radio), Country, Classic Hits, Sports, Regular FM, and General formats. I have been doing radio imaging across these formats for more than twenty years. Each format has its own energy level, pacing, and tonal register — and I know them all well enough to deliver from the first take.
What is the difference between a station ID, a sweeper, and a liner?
A station ID is a brief branding element — typically the call letters and slogan. A sweeper plays under or between music and is a few seconds of branded imaging. A liner is a longer spoken element — a DJ cue card, show intro, or topical promo read. I produce all three types, delivered broadcast-ready from my home studio.
Do you offer ongoing station voice work?
Yes, and long-term relationships are welcome. Having a consistent voice for all of your imaging elements — IDs, sweepers, liners, and promos — builds a coherent on-air brand. I work with stations that need a single element and with stations that need their full imaging set voiced consistently over time.
How do you deliver radio imaging files?
Broadcast-ready WAV or MP3, whichever your production process requires. Delivery via email, Dropbox, FTP, or any file transfer system your station or production house uses. Typical turnaround is same-day or next-day for most imaging orders.
Can you voice network or syndicated programming imaging?
Yes. Network imaging requires consistent delivery across multiple markets and affiliates — the read has to work in any market, at any daypart, without sounding like it was cut for one specific station. I have the range and consistency to voice network and syndicated imaging effectively.
Ready to talk imaging?
Consistent voice. Every format. Broadcast-ready from day one.
